Growing up on the shores of Long Island, there was no better weekend reward than going out on the boat with my dad. Ever since the age of 8, I loved the idea of waterskiing and pretty much every sport that included the ocean. During the summers, my father would take me out tubing and water-skiing every chance he got. By the age of 16, I was a watersports expert. I was subscribed to every waterskiing and boating magazine possible, and I was also working part-time as a service technician at the local marine shops. When it became time for college, I packed my bags to study at the University of Pennsylvania. Although I loved the city of Philadelphia, I knew that after graduation I had to return to the water. With little money and a great deal of ambition, I started up my small watersports business SKIDISCOUNTERS. Over the years SKIDISCOUNTERS gradually became larger and larger, and now we take pride in the fact that we are one of the major competitors in the industry offering personalized service and the best prices to resorts, camps and most importantly our recreational boaters.
